Completely renovating the basement lab area, starting with a pair of quality drawer sets. The lab tables will attach to the top of each, one for general lab measurements and the other will be used for pre-qualification and troubleshooting test setups. More photos coming.

Finished installing the table tops, equipment shelf, ESD mat and rear power strip.
Starting to arrange instruments. The left hand bench is for general measurements and smaller experiments, while the right hand bench is for performing pre-compliance testing and troubleshooting client projects. I’ll also use it for example measurements for my articles. I’m using a Tekbox “roll-up” ground plane, EMI receiver and LISN.
Now, the hard part…organizing all the tools, probes, smaller instruments, etc., into all those new drawers!

Some of you have complained the new lab area above doesn’t look very used. Some of you even thought I’d retired! Ha Ha! Does this look more like it?
